Mouanda is a Congolese photographer, co-founder of Collectif G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Elili and member of Afrique in visu. He has contributed to numerous international journals and has received numerous awards, including the Prix de la Francophonie and grants for artist-in-residence programs that have allowed him to travel to many African countries.<br \/>\nThe \u201cphotographer of life,\u201d as he defines himself, began his career in 1993. At this early stage, he was nicknamed \u2018Pho- touin\u2019 for his chronicles of Brazzavillian life, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Congo, as published in local newspapers. He rapidly developed a personal style. One of his first works in black-and-white, \u201cThe Aftermath of War,\u201d focuses on the recent history of his country. His artistic recognition in Africa began with the Best Photographer of the Academy of Fine Arts Award in Kinshasa. In 2007 as a residence in Paris, Mouanda crossed paths with the Congolese diaspora, and the famous kings of \u201csape.\u201d Back in Brazzaville in 2008, he photo- graphed the most beautiful \u201csapeurs\u201d of the Congolese capital.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 20px;\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2335\" src=\"http:\/\/2015.kyotographie.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Nsenda72.jpg\" alt=\"Nsenda72\" width=\"133\" height=\"200\" \/><b>Nsenda Lukumwena <\/b><br \/>\nBorn in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Based in Japan, I have worked as an architect, City Planner and designer; and lectured on architecture and urban design in Asia, Africa, Europe and the United States of America.
