Photography Masterclass in partnership with ICP, New York

KYOTOGRAPHIE announces a newly formed partnership with the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York, one of the leading photography institutions in the world. From the beginning in the 1970s, the International Center of Photography exhibit, preserve, interpret, and create images through their galleries, archives, public programs, and school. ICP’s position as one of the foremost institutions in the photographic medium is built upon the distinction of their faculty, the diversity and strength of their exhibition program, and the depth of their collections. For this Masterclass, the photographer and ICP faculty member, Stéphanie de Rougé has been invited by KYOTOGRAPHIE to present a specialized 3 days session that deals with the making of a photography project from A to Z. This workshop is aimed at professional and advanced amateur photographers who are at ease with image making techniques and want to refine their skills in story telling. Stéphanie’s approach integrates theory, history, slideshow of images, brainstorming, editing sessions and practice in order to give participants a deeper understanding of the field and of their own voice as a photographer. Participants who successfully finish the masterclass will receive a letter completion from the ICP. Participation requires fluency in camera and exposure techniques, intermediate level in either Ligthroom or Photoshsop.
